Re: Doctor Who : Season 5
And, yet again, the BBC fail to update all the various iPlayer systems. Not good considering that at a trade conferance I went to, they made a big thing about how it's all automatic.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5
The question is what did we miss?
When you look at previous series there where things in the background, barewolf posters etc.

Totally agree, for the first time it's lost the Doctor Who signature theme.
The theme was the definition of Doctor who, revamped time and time again since Delia Derbyshire created the definitive sound.
Not sure about the filming style either.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5
I loved the episode itself but the theme is rubbish.
I thought I was going to hate the new doc, but he seems to have made the part his own and still has the 'Dont mess with me' attitude.
I was a little confused to why a copper was wearing a mini skirt, then got more confused when the wife hit me for commenting
Apart from the concussion, the new DW has all the ingredients for a great series

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5
Agree about the new theme tune marky.
And I also wondered about the mini skirt on a policewoman. Of course it made sense later on :-)
Will be watching it again this afternoon with OH as he missed it yesterday.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5
Yep, I liked the new Doctor, loved Amy as well - the clips for the other episodes looked really good as well.
But the theme tune ?? That was crap
