I loved both Mariani books.
I read "The Fixer" afterwards by Jon F Merz, book 1 in the "Lawson Vampire" series. It was... OK. I won't be bothering with any of the other books in the series, though.
I've just finished "Red, White and Blood" by Christopher Farnsworth. It's the third "Nathaniel Cade" book (after "Blood Oath" and "The President's Vampire"), and like the previous two was an excellent read.

Re: What are you reading?
A friend of mine mentioned that he'd read Ronnie O'Sullivan's autobiography and thought it a good read. Anyone read it?
