The Americans are still waiting for episodes 5 & 6 (30th March I think they restart) as it suddenly stopped after episode 4, but then again they did have major production problems

And yet they are hopeful for another season (see digital spy today). MMMmmm I think not
It says in the same article Tuesday, April 30 on ABC in the US.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
Shame really as it's a good rewrite of a classic series

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
If it's as good as the re-make of BSG was, I think we may be in for a treat.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
It was starting to shape up ok, once you get past the first episode, which was very, very rushed. BSG had the advantage of an entire pilot miniseries to establish the premise upon which the regular show was then based. V threw almost everything at the screen within the first 40 minutes. It really wasn't very satisfying, and would probably have been a bit confusing for someone coming at it completely fresh, with no knowledge of the original series.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
I only watched the first one. But if you think it got better maybe it's worth another look.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
Yes, I'd say it's worth a look if you have access to the remaining broadcast episodes. They started to introduce a couple of interesting variations on the original story.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
The new Dr Who has apparently been renewed for a sixth year, with another Christmas special on the cards.
