Get yourself a couple of cheap oil or fan heaters, worked well for me for the 2 weeks my boiler was broken, not sure how much it'll affect the elecy bill though!

I got a little fan heater thing in here now but it's just too expensive to run for very long.

Hope you get your boiler fixed soon, We went East Kilbride shopping as my husband, Joe was short of books, He likes Waterstones and the vouchers he gets for Christmas last him till about October, He just loves reading.

Thanks dilli, I like it whereas hubby likes the black high gloss but I think you need a big kitchen to get away with that one needless to say we have not got a big kitchen so the design is breakfast bar which now means we will be able to have 7 people eating at once in the kitchen 4 at the table and 3 at the breakfast bar which will be good for stuff like Christmas, birthdays etc.

Black gloss would be a magnet for smears, fingerprints etc. Think your choice is far better.
