Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
31/08/2006 - Alan Pardew "It is a massive coup for us. I've no doubt this will give us a real chance to compete with the very best teams in the Premiership and in Europe."
07/11/2006 Tevez scores his first West Ham goals. For the reserves. In a defeat to Southampton.

Nice to see you're as gracious as Gordon Strachan, then
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ic/6126612.stm
"Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was magnanimous in defeat after Falkirk knocked out the CIS Insurance Cup holders after a penalty shoot-out.
"First of all, well done to Falkirk," he said. "They went at it and made some chances and so did we. "It went to penalties and they did better than us, it was as simple as that, so well done to them."
Falkirk are only 4 points behind Hearts - you could still manage second this year.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Looks like both Wenger and Pardew will be charged.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...em/6129384.stm
It will be a crying shame if Wenger's little temper tantrum drags Pardew down with him. Pardew's done nothing wrong.

Well Rangers are self-destructing and Hearts go through a new manager every few weeks so that could be a possibility.

Actually no it wasnt, a glasgow kiss is delivered as close to the bridge of the nose as is possible, with points awarded for accuracy and speed of decent (of the victim that is).
That was clearly to the chest.
