Re: What are you eating now?

McChicken sandwich ? Or Chicken Mayo thing off the saver menu? I always remember them tasting differently for some reason.

Handful of chocolate limes, and getting told off for crunching them in the process

Just been to The Owl in Leeds (Lockside, Mustard Wharf) with SWMBO and two friends, and enjoyed this…

Washed down by a bottle of Rose for the ladies, and a couple of pints of Northern Monk Faith Hazy Pale Ale for the gents…

McChicken sandwich.

Yes, the Chicken Mayo has a different taste (but I still like them).

Choc limes are one of my favourites. Sadly the wife's too. So a bag has been devoured this evening.

Re: What are you eating now?

After decades refusing Dutch cheeses, the missus has developed a taste for Gouda. So I bought some Edam (it's still made backwards) but she doesn't like it. So Edam, ham and Adad "Branston" sarnies for me.

I like the Beemster Royaal Grand Cru - really nice and expensive mature Gouda on the deli counter in Waitrose.

Last night I roasted some duck legs then served with tom-yum soup with Udon noodles, pak choi and baby corn.
