Whatever. Go waste your negative energy on someone else. Arsenal finished above Spurs and that's that. What you think might have happened in a alternate universe is of no matter to us. If Spurs hadn't blown a 7 point led they would be ahead of us, but they did.

Arsenal have had a lot more go against this season than Tottenham.

Think the main problem for Spurs is they have 5 or 6 first team players that aren't very good. I mean Huddlestone c'mon really?

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Yes, its sweet to beat your rivals, but at the end of the day they finished 4th. They've done well towards the end of the season and the teams above them are expected to be above them, so they have a right to be happy, but its still 4th, they celebrated as if they won a major competition. I don't think the United players celebrated as much when they won the league.

We can pretend the football world hasn't moved on but we know why top four is important. Look how dejected Spurs were and how happy they were then they got fourth a few years ago. After the season they were happy to confirm fourth.

Well they did but the goals were different for each team. Arsenal are still recovering from where they were. If United were in the same position they would be happy too. We don't all support teams that win all the time but we still take victories were we can.

Why? Football is relative. If you were an Arsenal supporter you would have different expectations than you do as a United fan. Arsenal had a torrid season, again, and that couldn't be addressed when we were adrift in midtable or 7 points behind Spurs. Spurs didn't collapse either, yet we went on a very good run to get fourth. So the players and fans are happy. It was wafer thin for weeks now, you're seeing relief at play.
We all want more than forth at the start of the season but there you go. This summer needs to see investment to ensure we're not here again and we have an advantage in that we have no big player to leave as we did the last two years.
Also when we say trophy all that really matters for a top club in the CL or the Premiership. I would rather be in the Champions League than win the FA Cup (as much as I do want to win the FA Cup).
