"I don't think it was a deliberate handball" Who pays Andy Townsend to commentate on football?

A tactical masterclass by Mourinho again.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
First legs of European games are often boring but that was on another level of boring.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
I know most wanted us to get battered, and I'm sorry we let you down. Not the most exciting match, but hey ho. You should have seen us in the late 70's and the early and late 80's. I don't have a problem with how we set up tonight. Of course I'd love us to play open and free flowing football all the time, but I've seen Atletico dominate and batter better teams than us this season. I'll take a boring nil nil every time in a 1st leg away semi like this.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
I cannot abide this negative attitude of parking everyone bar a player who couldn't see a target 2 inches from his face in the penalty area. I don't care what anyone says, tactics like that have no place in European football.
I would be praying tonight if I was a United fan that the Glazers don't try and buy him out of his contract as I reckon after just 10 matches the fans would be begging to have Moyes back in charge.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
I'm honestly not bothered what others think of how we played. The fact they take the time to make things like that about little old Chelsea makes it even better

Defending well is part of the game and always has been.

Depends on injuries now. Cech's dislocated his shoulder so that's his season over. Don't know how bad Terry is, but Ivanovic and Matic are back so we'll have to wait and see. I don't know if Hazard will be risked either, that's if he's fit. I thought Cole did well tonight as well. Considering he's not played since the end of January. Mikel being banned for the 2nd leg is a bonus as well
