Right. Next question, and is quite difficult....
There are five current football managers who have managed over a thousand league games throughout their careers, who are they ?

Fergie and Dario Gradi are two I can think of.

As a clue for another, think of a common English surname, there are plenty in most telephone directories

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Harry Redknapp and Neil Warnock have to be close if not 1000.
Denis Smith has 1139 according to Soccerbase.
I'm just a tad suspicious of a sting in the tail on this one... maybe a Scotland manager or one who's currently international?

Me neither. It gets better for us though apparently the latest chap trying to take over the club can't afford it without putting the club in debt, we have been here before haven't we

I actually asked this question at work today, and someone came up with Graham Turner as another candidate, so I am currently looking into it.
It could be that my original source for the question might be wrong and that there are actually six.
What I need to do is find out if Horton & Turner are actually managing atm.
Apologies if the question was a bit misleading

I think Turner is manager of Hereford so a lot of his matches were non league

Horton was relieved of his duties at Macclesfield Town in late September 2006 after his team failed to win any of their opening twelve League games, leaving them bottom of the Football League.
Horton lives in Cheadle Hulme with his family.
