Thanks for the tip, I'll give that try in one of the feeders and see how it goes.

Re: What have you just bought?
A car cover with a 3-year warranty from Lidl. My car was on its list, so it should fit perfectly. And it was reduced to £9.99 from £13.99. It's a total necessity due to all the crud that the street tree dumps on it.

An 8 inch SHAN ZU Damascus Chef Knife. I just need something that's easier on the hands than Globals.

Re: What have you just bought?
A Temu order has arrived in just 6 days from China. 2 can openers, easy threading sewing needles, self-amalgamating tape, car reversing LED lamps, shower caps, 12v buzzer, PTFE tape, car door anti-bump strips, self-adhesive cable clips, oven shelf silicone protectors, and a keyring that projects the time onto the ceiling.
All a tiny fraction of UK prices, and free delivery.

I also bought a EBD2 car fault reader to reset the servicing icon on the car dash. Dacia won't do a reset unless I pay them £320 plus fluids (oil and any top-ups for the radiator and washer bottle) plus parts (air filter, oil filter and cabin filter). Then VAT on top!
No way was I going to pay all that after only 668 miles this past year. The air filter is £5 from a motor factors and takes 10 seconds to change without tools, but they want £22! And as for the cabin filter, I have punched a big hole in it, as it causes the resistor pack for the cabin fan to blow up if it gets damp or clogged. I'm not allergic to pollen anyway.
The receptionist said I should also get an Air Conditioning purge and refill. I told her that I just open the window when it gets hot.

Re: What have you just bought?
Sony a6700 with the 16-135mm kit lens, 128Gb v90 SD card and a polarising filter. My now quite old camera (Canon 50D with a couple of ultrasonic lenses) needed an upgrade really, as I bought that one when it came out many moons ago. Next up is some investment in new glass for the Sony.

Not sure which model you've got but there are some YouTube videos showing how to reset the service counter by pressing the selector button on the right steering wheel stalk.

Re: What have you just bought?
A Ticwatch Pro 5, to replace my Pro 3 that despite being waterproof didn't survive the washing machine. Have been using my Omega and my Citizen but I miss the smart watch too much and cant get used to having the others as my daily watch.

Re: What have you just bought?
Out of contract with O2, looking for a better deal (paying £14 per month for 5GB (doubled to 10 because VM/O2)), and this came up on Uswitch.
12 months O2 contract (with eSIM if you want it - I did); 10Gb per month (I get 20GB because VM/O2) for £5.99 per month.
https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/sim-...e=compare%2Fo2
I haven’t switched before because the previous Uswitch /O2 deals didn’t include EU Roaming or Travel Zone Bolt On, but this does - not often you get twice the data for 40% (ish) of the price…
Quite a few good deals here if you’re out of contract with O2.
