Re: Euro 2020: England Reach Final
If matches had to be replayed because of iffy decisions, how many of the matches wouldn't have had to be replayed? The awarding of the free kick that eventually led to the Danish goal could be described as "iffy".
More generally, try going through events on a frame by frame basis to see the true sequence of events and who started to move first and therefore should have "right of way".

Can't see the fuss around it all really, hate soccer but even in rugby its only a game and the ref is only human. Make too many mistakes you get pushed to Sunday park games but it really isn't the end of the world whoever wins or loses. (Unless England win a major soccer tourney then it's headlines for the next few decades - yawn!! Here's hoping Italy manage it)

Dreadful penalties
Missing 3 out of 5 should just not happen.

Stats don’t lie, Italy 65% possession, 19 shots 6 on target, England 6 shots 2 on target. Lucky to get to a shoot out sadly.

Poor Saka. Awful decision to put on someone so young for such a key penalty.

Re: Euro 2020: England Reach Final
Southgate brings on 2 players in the 120th minute for penalties and they both miss.
Nothing more needs to be said…….

Re: Euro 2020: England Reach Final
Twice in two tournaments England have vanished in two halves of football when they've been leading 1-0.
Tactically naive and embarrassing to put on a stinker like that in a cup final. A new contract and the same old mistakes. I actually thought lessons had been learned given the Germany performance. Wrong. Massively wrong.
Questions won't be asked though because it's a semi-final and final, despite having the two easiest run ins to a major final in a row.

Re: Euro 2020: England Reach Final
The players taking their medals off is exactly the kind of reason the rest of the UK finds it hard to support England.

A repeat of the Croatian World Cup second half all over again.

Re: Euro 2020: England Reach Final
Might as well chuck in the embarrassing actions of some of the England fans to go with that.
Italian fans beaten upon entry to the stadium. Apparently leading them through a turnstile right into a foyer full of England fans was a cracking idea. Can definitely be trusted to be civil and behave as one takes a swing at what appears to be a teenage boy. That's before the games even started.
Italian fans beaten on the way out
