Going to cancel this claim now - I sent a letter (email) of complaint to Aer Lingus about how the additional costs for changing flights back had gone up from £161 per person to £266 per person whilst I was trying to book the flights, and they have just refunded £1067 - result!!!
Just goes to show that it never hurts to ask...

Re: What have you just bought?
CTEK CT5 charger not cheap but as both cars have stop start batteries should the worst happen it would be the thick end of £600 to replace them both

Re: What have you just bought?
Half shoulder of lamb, bone in pork shoulder for Easter weekend. Looking for some exercise equipment at not silly prices but not too much luck. Got a little 1kg and 3 kg hand weights, 10kg sack with later delivery - still waiting but I know a little about the supplier and their problems.
---------- Post added at 10:02 ---------- Previous post was at 09:59 ----------
A new vacuum cleaner - the last one started to emit strong electrical smell and was well over 10yrs old. Got an older model Shark using Which? reviews but wife isn't that happy. She says the balance is wrong but it does suck properly. It's a lot quieter than the Dyson. Now she's found that an old model Dyson would only be a little more expensive.

Set of press-up bars.
Been a month since I last set foot in a gym and I'm climbing the walls with frustration....

Climbing the walls though. Must be good exercise.
Mother-in-law has just bought cheap festival tents for our kids, seeing as we can't go away for our long Easter weekend to the seaside flat as we normally would this week. They arrived via courier from whatever online emporium she used, and yesterday I mowed the back lawn in preparation for the great garden sleep-out, probably tomorrow as the weather forecast is better.
Missus and I are going to run a book between us on who gives up and comes in at what time.

Yes please, do post the link. Missus is working at the local school/childcare operation this week and only has half a bottle of alcohol gel left.

Re: What have you just bought?
Managed to get 1/2 dozen eggs this morning in Lidl amongst other things. Just a few boxes there. We'd used the last ones up on Sunday breakfast. None in Sainsbury's the last two weeks.

Re: What have you just bought?
An unlimited data add-on for my phone so I can create a separate hotspot for work at home. Our glacial rural ADSL just can’t cope with having 5 people on it all day.
