Re: What have you just bought?
Bought a Echo Dot with clock. I could get it from Currys now but don't mind waiting on Amazon, good job I got it in at start of the discount period because it's now out of stock to 22 Dec. Will use are replacement for bedside clock radio so don't need huge sound and LCD screens either turn off or leak too much light for the purpose.

Re: What have you just bought?
Well I bought 2 electric toothbrushes for my nephew and niece for Christmas.
They should have cost £600, but in the Amazon sale paid £158 for them.
Last year I spent £2,244 on Amazon, so far this year £3,288. :O

Re: What have you just bought?
A 3 foot long user bendable heating element (240V 750W) this is to do a similar repair to post #558 here
This time one of the remaining bottom elements has failed. The top fix is still working fine so I thought a repeat is the correct thing to do.

Re: What have you just bought?
16 bottles of wine (stocking up for Christmas, as I only have around 30 left at the moment).
2 x fizz, 6 white, 8 red.
6 from Sainsbury's, as they had some of their nice wines reduced, and were offering 25% of that price if you mixed and matched 6, and 10 from Majestic, as I received one of their £30 vouchers in the post.
hic...
