Re: A thread for FreeSat changes
Pick HD (147) has closed on FreeSat.
Sky Arts will likely take that channel number in September when it goes Free-To-Air. I'd be surprised if it didn't.

It is better than it used to be, sadly though at the detriment of the other Arts IMHO. Sky closing Sky Arts 2 was pretty much responsible.

Re: A thread for FreeSat changes
Sky Arts confirmed as launching on FreeSat on 17th September.
Also confirmed it will be on Channel 147, recently used for the temporary HD version of Pick.

Re: A thread for FreeSat changes
Sky Arts has went FTA early. My Ye Olde ancient Sky box is showing it. Not officially meant to go FTA until 17th.
Not on FreeSat EPG yet, I've checked on my FreeSat box. A Digital Spy poster says it's on the FreeSat SDT table though, so preparations are underway.

Re: A thread for FreeSat changes
BritBox has launched on the 4K FreeSat boxes.
https://twitter.com/freesat_tv/statu...
As ex- a516digital points out on Twitter, TVs with in-built FreeSat may have the app already due to manufacturer agreements.
It likely won't come to previous generation boxes.

I always thought it was a strange decision not to develop BBC Sounds for smart TVs after they took the radio stations out of the iPlayer. I’m glad to see they’re reverting that now.

Re: A thread for FreeSat changes
There have been two software updates to the Freesat 4K boxes since the last post.
https://www.freesat.co.uk/help/software-updates
Both are bug fixing for known issues.
---------- Post added at 14:41 ---------- Previous post was at 14:37 ----------
Live 360 has been removed from Ch 176
Sporty Stuff TV has appeared on Ch 250.
This is showing eSports, Sailing, Gokarting, Triathlon, Mountain Biking and Rallying looking quickly through today's schedule. No live sport, just prepackaged highlights by the looks of things.
