Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
The Quality Manager spoke to me about extending my contract for another two months, when he realised it would end on New Years Eve, he asked 3 months OK.
I said I'm here as long as I'm needed.
I guess I'll be doing this until the guy I'm temping for comes back, or doesn't (I've been told he's terminal )

Give yourself a big pat on the back Hom3r, he obviously thinks very highly of you and your work. I hope the original job holder makes a full recovery, would the firm consider job sharing?

Another day and my mum is still in hospital but she is improving all the time and hopefully next week they will let her come out of hospital.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I hope your Mum gets out soon, I know we need hospitals but once we get the correct treatment, we just want home and be back in our comforts. Best Wishes to her & all the family.

At St Pancras with a cold pint of 1664 in hand, then off to get the tube to Waterloo and off to Hampshire to visit some rellies for a long weekend (some alcohol may be consumed).
Life is good.....
