The power socket isn't a male connector - it's the one next to the switch:

It has a pin in the middle. so it's male. I should be able to tell after being in the trade for over 40 years.
A nice lady in Scotland agreed that they have sent me 2 identical LITEON PSU's for V6 tivos, and not one for the hub3. In the post tomorrow,

No need of the Powerlink kit they sent.

Now I have to see if I can get Boxswap to work.......

Wouldn't bother with the Hub 3 if I were you. It's no better than Hub 2, quite the opposite in fact.

Success!
Once the system settled down and stopped making each box "inactive" over and over again...

Re: Free V6 box
I have received the email, "a free upgrade to say a big thanks," offering a V6. It has come directly to my name, even though I already have a V6, which seems to disqualify me. If I click through from the email, does anyone know if I'll be successful (and get to swap my second box, a TiVo) or will the system realise and refuse me?

Re: Free V6 box
Hi all, I have a TiVo box and 2 VHD boxes. so just to confirm, am I right in thinking that I can replace one of the VHD's for a V6 box or does it have to be whichever the oldest box is (in which case is the TiVo) as I'd rather keep that.
