Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Not sure a boss should really be doling out hugs, especially to someone who seems to have made his feelings known and they're clearly not reciprocated. If it was the other way around I don't think Mark would be getting too much sympathy, in fact he might be the subject of a complaint.
Mark, as sad as it is, you do need to put it behind you but I know that's far easier to say than do.

Put it out yesterday before 8am down by our gate so plainly visible from the road. Did they collect? Did they hell. I forgot and left the bag out overnight and it rained so now the clothes are damp.
They (BHF) can go to hell from now on. I'll give them to another charity that can actually be bothered.

Maybe it was white heather and peg selling day today? Or they were all out collecting scrap metal?
We get a variety of bags popped through our door for everything from "The Children's Helicopter Ambulance" to "The Army of Salvation".

It's been confirmed that I have gallstones the good news is that I will be getting my gallbladder removed all going well it will be done by keyhole surgery. I have my pre-op assessment at the end of the month so hopefully it will not be long after that. The pain gallstones cause is horrendous, I have never experienced like it!
The doctor has given me strong pain killers in the mean time.

I've heard it described as worse than childbirth! I wouldn't know but can confirm it's the sort of pain that's beyond words.
The final attack I had resulted in a ride in an ambulance and a nice dose of morphine at A&E and even then I was still uncomfortable! I'd had my pre-op but events overtook me and I ended up having mine out at very short notice (a few hours after the morphine). They didn't bother putting me on the fat free diet for a few weeks before - probably due to family history of gallbladder issues.
I didn't realise how ill I was feeling in the months before the operation until I came round from the surgery - despite being in pain I felt better than I'd done for ages and haven't looked back since. Knowing you can eat anything and not be doubled up in pain later is great.
Cheers
Grim

l am sorry to hear that you have gallstones weenie as yes it is certainly very painful that's for sure and you will certainly feel much better once they have done your op and hopefully that will happen quickly.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
This viral thing has wiped me out. Went out shopping this morning, usually come back home and do housework. Today, got home and just fell onto the settee and fell asleep. Don't think I'll be fit by Monday, fingers crossed.

@weenie My mother had this and she said it wasn't too bad. Good luck. Be prepared to have an aversion to fatty foods after though.
@mark Get well soon.

Sorry to hear this but I thought you may have it. The pain is indeed terrible but the keyhole surgery not too bad thankfully. I had to wait for some months for surgery as mine had become badly infected and I needed a week in hospital to clear that up first. I was only in 2 nights after the surgery and although it was a bit sore afterwards I have had no adverse reaction to any foods and I love dairy products, especially cheese. If anything my digestion feels better since and I get far less indigestion and reflux than before the op.
You'll be fine Weenie and it's far better dealt with than left to flare up and possible cause complications.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Thanks everyone for wishing me well, I get the feeling that they are trying to make me walk out. Working Monday Tuesday Wednesday, then off then doing Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. Big breath. Then: Sunday Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday Sunday.
And the one before my birthday, I am doing a Victoria's Secret in Bond Street. Anyone know if the store is big or not? As there is a crew of around 20 scheduled for that.
