Or they could just use a little archive footage.

Though not many people have a 3D TV at home.
The Odeon in Manchester city centre is fully booked for the 'live' showing

Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
I'm trying to set it up in 3d for the missus here at home. I can get the test card to look ok on channel 303 but it's definayely not in 3d here.
Probsy the tv though. When I switch it to side by side mode it just makes the card look 2d
Still I'm recording both versions

Is it Sky you have? If so am sure its not available in 3D. Only Freeview/Virgin/Freesat.

Its a special event, they are always priced more than normal tickets. eg Live Opera and other things. Cineworld ticket price is about the same and the 2 near me have both sold out over 4 showings each and added extra tomorrow. Clearly price is not stopping people want to experiance the 50th on the big screen.
Only an hour to go ![Smilie](images/smilies/smile.gif) ![Smilie](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Ahhh should be there then. Does the guide list the episode aas 3D. Test card isn't 3D afaik.
On VM the info for the episode on the BBC RB describes it as the 3D version.
Sky wasn't listed earlier in the week so its probably just been added.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
To be fiat it just lists the episode in the guide as 3d not the card. So we shall see.
