Re: What have you just bought?
Two Single 1st Class tickets on Virgin East Coast, after been stuck in a queue at Heathrow for six hours, caused by the mass cancellation of flights this morning at Heathrow (just what we needed after flying in on a delayed overnight flight from Boston).
If we wanted to wait for a flight to Leeds, it was going to be on Sunday morning (Manchester or Newcastle on late Saturday evening were the alternatives) - sod that for a lark.
Icing on the cake - our luggage is still in the USA.
I don't care - we had a great holiday in New England.

Re: What have you just bought?
I just bought a book for £85, the Codex Seraphiniaus.
Its written in a unknown language thus no one can read it, its full of bizarre imagery.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Codex-Serap...+seraphinianus
In November its the The Voynich Manuscript, again written in a unknown language, containing flora and founa unknown to science, originally written in around the 15th century on velum.

Indeed nash but sadly in these PC times it will never get shown on TV again which is a big shame IMO.

Re: What have you just bought?
Ink cartridges for the missus' printer. Everywhere I looked online was £20-£26, but then I looked at Maplin at found them under £15. I had the last of their stock and 3 are being sent over from Belfast.
