Re: Loki
There’s something to be said for the anticipation of a weekly episode. It means everyone is on the same page when it comes to discussing what we’ve seen, or concocting batty, unfeasibly elaborate fan theories about what it’s leading to.
I am going to start watching it later. I must say that I am intrigued as to where the story goes because they emphasised that Wandavision and Falcon were single seasons, told a story at a certain point in time and there wouldn't be second seasons. I know Loki has been extremely popular so it would be interesting to know whether a second season was planned all along or whether somebody at Disney has got over excited by the viewing figures and told Marvel they need to plan a second season.
Likely because Loki was by far the more important show of the three in regards to the MCU and going forward.
WandaVision and Falcon set up characters with minor changes and a bit of development some for the TV shows and some for the movies. Loki just set up the entirety of Phase 4 in a single episode. It's likely they need a second season to actually end the show really given that's a cliffhanger ending. That or to introduce the time twisters to the MCU.
There was only one thing that bugged which I need to think more about and that is how Dr Strange et al and the time crystal works with the TVA around.
I thought the series was very average and my least favourite out of the three. For me there wasn't enough of Loki being Loki in it to just the series name and they could have easily called it something else with Loki featuring as a support role similar to The Hulk in Ragnarok for example.
For me, Wandavision was best, then Falcon then Loki.
