fraid not go to uefa.com and there is info on it there.. it is players that are registered to a club or league between the ages of 15-23 for three years i.e if a young french player is at arsenal for 3 years between those ages he will be classed as being english.. also some posts above this further back as well..

as for palace we could have been 3-0 up in the first 10 mins.. played well until the first 30 then lost aki and went downhill from there.. we knew we needed at least 2 players in defence and also a midfielder but jordan won't buy anyone.. can't see us staying up and won't get promoted with that side and be even worse if a few of them go

final score 1-1 .. think Reyes should have been sent off instead he was the one that was throwing punches not Bergkamp.. nice to see Arsenal have to play another game

Re: [Merged] Football talk

Did anyone else watching Man U v Everton on Ntl get switched to the snooker interactive for a couple of minutes around nine minutes into the game, I flicked over to terrestial BBC 1 and the footy was still on there???

That pitch is a shocker, but still a good game so far.

Same on Telewest. It must have been the BBC at fault

Re: [Merged] Football talk

I thought united were awesome today, quick one touch passing, also strong in defence and midfield.
It was also good to see Smith back warming up on the touchline.

The Champions league kicks off again this coming week, united hopefully will not concede a goal at home to stand a chance of getting through, no doubt that the Italians will have done their homework on Rooney & Ronaldo.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Jose Mourinho will know a bit about Barcalona, but will find it hard to beat them.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Arsenal meet Bayern Munich and if Arsenal play at their best, they should get through.

I am looking forward to this coming weeks fixtures

Re: [Merged] Football talk

Being a life long Spurs Fan I was when the ref disallowed Sheifields goal againt Arsenal, and again when I heard that a gooner was sent off should have been a few more, and I was dancing when the match was equallised.

Arsenal should have lost 2-1
