Re: Football Season 2015/2016
You can't blame Vardy for it. He was playing lower league football not long ago, he won't be a multi millionaire like other players and he's at the back end of his career. You can't blame him for going to a big club to earn big money.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
l am not blaming him but a while back he said he had no intention of leaving the club so l just wish players would be more honest with the club and the supporters rather then telling porkies.

This.
It also applies to managers.

To be fair that was probably said before Leicester won the league.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
I think it was odds on favourite that most of the Leicester players, will go to the rich clubs. As they can double there wages.
Look at Barton, he left soon after and went to Rangers. Vardy, stated that he would stay at Leicester. But then he gets a better offer, and possible constant champions league football with Arsenal.
Most of last seasons squad will leave for bigger clubs.
The bookies make Leicester relegation favourites for next season

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Also for Vardy, even his career path, wouldn't the prospect of signing for Arsenal itself be pretty attractive even without the extra cash? If you're someone who wasn't expecting a career at high-level football, let alone the Premier League, and in a few years Arsenal/United/Liverpool turn up at your door then it's going to be hard to say no.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Someone on twitter said in a DM to me today that he wouldn't be surprised if Vardy made outrageous demands on these clubs to see who will tempt him away from Leicester and I kind of agree with that. After the season he just had, he surely must be able to name his price effectively to other clubs.

Aren't they just, although in this case I'm glad they scuppered the move by demanding more cash.

The whole Koeman thing is driven by his azzhole new agent Rob Jansen.
Stating there was a deal in place and yesterday having to backtrack and say there isn't, as Southampton had not given any permission for Koeman to talk to Everton.

Another selfish self centred footballer and you don't want them when the going gets tough.

Normally I'd argue he has a lot to play for given his role for France and whatnot but you're not wrong at all. The audacity after his performance this year.
