Great news, good to hear
No-where near as important, but gratifying, none the less, I managed to 'kill' my new netbook last night - luckily I had purchased an external DVD drive & burned the restore disks - so I'm now back to factory defaults...
(I'd screwed the recovery partition as well, so without the restore disks I would have been well & truly knackered ...)

Maybe. I'm running for myself but one of our other work mates is seriously ill with leukemia right now so we will probably end up doing some form of sponsorship for him.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I visited the CAB yesterday to discuss my financial problems and they have set up an appointment on 4th January to write to all my creditors with offers leaving me enough money to live on each month. I'd reached the point where my outgoings were more than incoming ![Erm](images/smilies/erm.gif) .
I feel a bit liberated as I'm dealing with my problems. I had to withdraw everything in my account and opened a new one with a different bank and put it all in there before my credit score is completely fubar-ed. Then I contacted all my 'essentials' and re-directed all my direct debits to the new account. The mortgage will get paid, along with associated costs and my car.
I slept for the first time in weeks last night. I know its just the start of dealing with problems I've created myself, but i've done it
