Re: life on mars
It clashes with Battlestar Galactica too. What's the chances of getting V+ installed in time if I phone for it now

Ye dinnae need that .... BSG is on Sky Two on Thursday and Saturday, at 10pm.
We're going to watch the part 2 preview of Life on Mars tonight on BBC4, and thereafter we'll just follow it on BBC4 on Tuesdays at 10pm, conveniently straight after BSG on Sky One at 9pm.
Not that I'm square-eyed or anything.

Re: life on mars
Excellent idea - just got to remember what to watch on Thursdays now. Life gets to complex I think that's an ER on E4 clash

Re: life on mars
First episode was OK but perhaps slightly spoiled by too many interruptions from present day. The fact that the modern detective wanted to fit up the suspect would have confused anyone coming to this series not having seen the first one.
But that second episode, excellent. It just covered so many aspects of the 1970s. Better not say too much for those without BBC4 The trailer for ep 3, looks intriguing too

I forgot last week, then realised they had skipped an episode due to the footy - I was even cursing 'cos I couldn't find it on VOD - of course with no BSG available, anymore, I'll no longer need to use that as an option

Re: life on mars
I watched this episode on BBC3 a fortnight ago straight after the 9pm episode on the Tuesday. So despite the fact He's got the remote and is watching the footie I'm not missing it..Just missing CSI instead which I had planned to watch instead..
All these blasted programming clashes.
