Which flat CAT cable for short distance.
I'm considering running a flat ethernet cable from one side of my living room to the other to feed my Playstation 5 and TV.
What type is recommended, it needs to be pretty flat and not restricted in speed for my purposes and if I want to plug more than 1 device into it what small device is suitable and cheap?

Just get a cheap gigabit switch if you want to connect more than 1 device at a time and throw any decent flat cat6 cable at it

Re: Which flat CAT cable for short distance.
Thanks guys, that's the sort of cable I was looking at but won't need very long and was looking at a 5port switch from TP link from £10ish.
Does the switch need mains power?

Re: Which flat CAT cable for short distance.
Well I've ordered the TP-link Jaymoss has and a few cables, not sure why but I went for 3 cat7 cables of various lengths to connect everything up.

All up and running I'm surprised how small everything is, even the cable which was easy to slide between carpet and skirting board.
No idea if it makes any difference to usage but if I give cloud gaming a go via the new telly it must be better.
