I got a letter not an email. Always do for some reason. The actual price rise is in a very small font.....
Tempted just to cancel, good chance I'll be moving to a non cabled area this year and certainly don't want a new VM contract on the new crap terms. RPI + 3% , and no cancellation rights is taking the p*ss. No wonder the regulator is looking into it.
Don't think that cable living in my ground for the past 25 years has been working that hard. Even Arthur Scargill wouldn't have asked for that level of rise...

Think i may cancel virgin media & try now tv broadband & phone 30meg bb + call anytime phone + entertainment & cinema 12 month contract = £37.00 per month sounds a good deal ?
