The 2018 World Cup draw will take place in Russia's capital city of Moscow this afternoon.

No doubt it will end in tears for England again.

Expectations are so low for England now that they've got nothing to lose. In most of the World Cups since 1966, the public have expected us to win, they definitely don't think that this time. There are some exciting young players if they have the bottle to play them.

Think back to 1966 and then count the years to now and one can see the tears have been flowing on a regular basis ever since Mr K and sadly l cannot see that changing as England are as likely to win the World cup as England have of winning the Ashes this winter.

1990 was the only time we really could have won. There was no team better, bloody Germans , bloody penalties, bloody Chris Waddle....

Re: 2018 World Cup finals
Don't underestimate Southgate and his ability to lose or draw with Panama or Tunisia.
The guy is a product of being Steve McClaren's understudy on both a club and international stage.

Re: 2018 World Cup finals
Easy to see why Holland failed to qualify, even managing to make England look half decent.
