Unlimited Data Sim
Hi All,
Received a letter today saying Sim only contract I had for my daughter with unlimited data is going to be no longer available after 1st July.
Now offering 300mb for same price, so kind of them!
Daughter has gone up the wall. Main thing she uses is data..........anyone recommend another provider who could offer similar.
Was paying around £10 per month. Spoilt really but Virgin should have offered something better than that.

Re: Unlimited Data Sim
How much data do you need is the question, might be worth checking usage over last 12 months

Re: Unlimited Data Sim
JB66,
It is a job to say at present.
I've been trying to work out a way from the online usage page. But does not give total. Tried downloading as a CSV file but need to filter out calls etc as they appear in same column.
She must be using over 10Mb per month as streaming music all the time etc.

Re: Unlimited Data Sim
Three do an "essential" sim only deal.
£10 a month unlimited minutes and texts with 4gb data.

Re: Unlimited Data Sim
My daughter still has a "unlimited everything" plan for £22 a month with Virgin. She won't be happy if they stop it.

Looking at their website they have a sim only plan for £25 and that is 20GB a month.

Re: Unlimited Data Sim
Of course the companies just love to encourage customers to use and become reliant on loads of data, then jack up the prices. The more data they have, the more they feel they can use without thinking about it or any alternatives. That's why we've all stayed on PAYG, even thought Osem Jnr is currently thinking of changing to a contract. Just as I've advised him, maybe people need to adapt their usage although that's obviously easier said than done where there's no wi-fi for example.
