Pretty extreme I know however the show crossed a line last night, now anything is possible.

Her name is Beth. The actress is Emily.

I thought it was excellent and scarily thought provoking. If you were with someone with obvious serious and dangerous mental health issues who would prolly kill you given half a chance what would you do?
Abandon them and hope they don't follow you? Learn to never sleep again or turn your back? Or take the drastic option?

Read the comics, they're much darker than the series although it is a pretty dark show, actually don't read them, I haven't watch it since the end of series two as I made that mistake

Agreed, we're talking about the end of the world and dead rising and eating the living.
There is no line to cross.

This is it. For the first time in a long time we had something reminding us that the world they live in is entirely different to ours. As disturbing as that incident was, TWD had kept us in a comfort zone for too long. It was almost a return to the initial 'shocker' value of season 1.
If our society had gone to pieces like theirs then all rules about common decency and normality would go flying out of the window - and last week's episode reflected that.
Although in true TWD tradition it should follow that the remaining episodes won't be as powerful...

Will be interesting to see how it ends next week.
The interweb are talking about Cannibals.

Good call. There was certainly *something* uneasy about that ending.

That was my first thought. From other forums, it seems to be a very common theory...

Re: Walking Dead season 4
Worst episode ever. The flashbacks were a waste of time and added nothing to the story. As for that ending......awful. I'll watch the next season as I like the show, not because of how this one concluded.

Re: Walking Dead season 4
The whole second half of this season felt like a dragged out season finale that did nothing more than set up the next season. If it had been 10 episodes long instead of 16 and last nights was still the last episode i probably wouldn't have minded so much but what we ended up with seemed like filler.

Re: Walking Dead season 4
It was't as bad as expected, I think the flashbacks served to remind just how dark Rick has become since those more calmer moments.
Yep, terminus are definitely cannibals.
Will be interesting to see how they get out if this one.
It would seem that Carol and Tyreese are not there yet, so I would assume that they will be pivotal in the escape.
But they look heavily outnumbered, so it looks like if they escape they'll be on the run from " hunters"
