Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Rumours are rife that Rodgers may be approached by the scousers. Hope not. If it doesn't work out he'll never be accepted back plus he'll forever have the stigma of being a former Liverpool manager.

Christ l am glad you are not his assistant then as he would be out of the job before he had a chance to get his seat warm.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Rodgers' odds have plummeted as reports that Liverpool have found their manager coincide with other reports that they have asked permission to talk to him.

Yes its very interesting that the bookies make him 2-1 on suggesting this is a fast moving story in which by tonight we might have more to go by.

The German league is a better league than the French as well.

whilst he might not be as good as everyone says i'd say the following
1) He can't be any worse than Giggs and will surely put in more effort
2) He can improve his game where as Giggs is on the decline.
I'd have taken him, although it's early in the pre-season so plenty of time for deals

Are you telling me the French league is better than the Japanese 2nd division????
I still think Hazard has a lot to prove, he has basically had one good season with Lille. There is no doubt he has great potential, but so do a lot of other players that clubs are looking at. Some people have let the media circus surrounding Hazard make him the hottest property in football when really he isn't.

Oh he has had many good years at Lille, he has been tracked for years and been amongst the top players in France for the last three or so years winning player of the year for the last two of them.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
It's not looking good for Rodgers - rumours are rife around here that the deal has been done. I feel sorry for him,he doesn't deserve this.
On a more positive note, ripped from my Facebook this morning...

Didier Drogba's decision to leave Chelsea has resulted in the club releasing 4 medical staff, 2 stretcher bearers and a drama teacher.

Why?.

LFC hasn't exactly been a great place for managers. Look at Hodgson. Great at his club before LFC and great job after LFC and then became England manager.
