MultiMedia Network Drive

If I had a multimedia network drive could i plug it into the V+ box?

Can the V+ box join a home network?

Does the USB ports work on the V+ box?

Finally, what is the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything?

Edit
Something like what am taking about http://www.ebuyer.com/product/152161

That will be the "I'm making this up as I go along to humour the client so I can run away as soon as possible" rumour mill then
