Question HELP!!!!!!!!! Dropping connection

I have had a broadband setup for a few years now with a NTL home:200 modem running through a Q-Tec UK790RH router with no problems i have recently decided to go wireless and have changed my router for a Linksys WRK54G Model
since doing this i find that everything works ok for a couple of hours then i lose internet and only have access to other computers on my home network even the other computers that are hardwired lose the internet connection (they work if plugged directly into the modem) i then have to run the full install programme again as my laptop cant find the router when rehardwired to it then i have to press the router reset button to start over with the install CAN ANYONE HELP???

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!! Dropping connection

Unfortunately, it seems the WRK54G isn't particularly good. See http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/87...ys-wrk54g.html

If there is any way you can get the router upgraded as being "not fit for purpose" to a WRT54G you will probably be a lot happier.
