Maybe that is because the only three English players sent off in the World Cup finals have played for Man Utd, don't let facts get in the way of your paranoia though.

Paranoia? Remember the hate Beckham went through in 1998? Do you remember Seaman getting the same abuse for being so crap against the Brazilians and handing them the match in 2002?

Seemed to tread on his opponent's groin? No malicious intent? They'll be saying Wayne Looney never swears next

Re: Ronaldo
I personally do not think any of Englands performances were good in the tournament. Rooney is a hot head and deserved to be punished for what he did >I doubt the ref changed his desision because of Ronaldo if he wasnt going to do anything Ronaldo wouldnt have persuaded the ref to give red.As was said England played well with 10 men and deserved some reward but yet again when it comes to the crunch they do not have the balls to face a penalty shootout.
You could see the difference in the face of the oppositions keeper when he was facing the penilties,he was so fired up you could see how focused and up for it he was. The better team didnt win but you have to admire the keeper

According to some, good performances apparently aren't required

Re: Ronaldo
Come on, can't you be happy for your fellow europeans? Are you so bitter at your own failure that you want them to lose??

Re: Ronaldo
That wasn't baiting - it's called 'irony'
It's what us celts have been told over the last 3 weeks when any of us have shown the slightest objection to England winning but perhaps I was just a little bit too subtle

Re: Ronaldo
I don't want Germany to win but it's their home country so i guess it'd be nice for them to.
