Suggest Routers
I know their is section at top but after alot of recommendations; my set-up is two pcs one wireless and an xbox i ve had two belkin routers now in last year b and then g both after time loose connection and do random things some days. So can anyone recommend a really really good cable modem router.

Linksys WRT54G would be my recommendation - I have one and it works flawlessly..

and this linksy one would work well for wired pc, wireless b connected pc and xbox wired.

Thirded for the linksys, although I tried a belkin G router, my linksys B router preforms the best, has the best range also. If only It had belkins config screen I would be most happy.
You can do 4 wired and 100's of wireless off that router.
This looks good for 16 quid though

you get an awful lot of extra features to be honest... i got it mainly for the QOS addition
as the firmware is open-source it's technically GPL, but sveasoft charge....
