New router can't hold a laptop and PS3 at same time

Hi,

So I had a netgear router, this worked superbly ran smoothly with 1 laptop and my ps3 running at all times.. All of a sudden this broke so I was forced to get a new router, talktalk sent me a new one (supposedly worth £30) and it doesn't seem to be able to cope with the ps3 and laptop running at the same time i.e I will be playing an online game, I then turn my laptop on and all of a sudden it goes ridiculously laggy, I then turn my laptop off, it then goes back to normal!
Please help, if you need me to answer any questions to help my problem please ask!

Thanks

Re: New router can't hold a laptop and PS3 at same time

talktalk? their modem/routers suck. call them up and have the replacement replaced with something else, its obviously faulty. if you have the stand up white Huawei rubbish then ask for another branded modem/router.

take a look at post #134 and #138 here for views on the huawei > http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12...re-page-9.html
