Any way there have two attempts on his life in as many months, and when you his opponents and media commentators calling him a threat to democracy, a threat to the country, etc, etc Out of a country with 350million people with access to guns, there will be idiots that take those comments seriously and think they are saving the country.
The Dems have to take % of responsibility for this.

A percentage of responsibility for donnies supporters having guns and trying to kill him? Interesting take but it's all on them, just like it was when they planned to hang pence

Lulz.
1st nutter - card-carrying GOP member
2nd nutter - known former Trump voter who backed Haley for the GOP nomination.
So, no, I don’t think so. The only one with a record of flirting with political violence and sitting back while his dumbest followers join the dots is Trump himself.
If he’s reaping the whirlwind, it’s one he sowed himself.

Re: Trump’s Troubles
I wonder how the shooter knew to be there - it was a last minute unplanned visit, yet the alleged rifleman had been there twelve hours…

He also emphasized that Trump’s outing had been unplanned, forcing authorities to work on the fly.
“The president wasn’t even really supposed to go there,” Rowe said. “It was not on his official schedule.”

A criminal complaint filed Monday alleges that a cellphone used by the suspect appeared to have been in the vicinity of the course for nearly 12 hours before he was spotted by a Secret Service agent, suggesting he may indeed have simply waited for Trump to appear.

Trump has three courses in Florida - Doral Golf Club (Miami), Jupiter, & West Palm Beach…

Yeah, I try not to indulge in conspiracy theories however there is something of a fishy pong around this one. Trump has been tanking in the opinion polls even in places like Iowa. Something like this makes him look like the victim and gives him something to try to attract sympathy And attack the Democrats with. I don’t know whether this was a genuine attempt on his life or not and I really didn’t indulge the conspiracy theories around the first shooter, however this time… Even I have my doubts.

He was probably a nutjob who correctly guessed he would be playing golf - he always is - and got lucky with the course.

Trump: We have to cherish Mark Robinson. You have to cherish him. He’s like a fine wine. He's an outstanding person. I've gotten to know him so well
|
https://edition.cnn.com/2024/09/19/p...rum/index.html
Quote:
Mark Robinson, the controversial and socially conservative Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, made a series of inflammatory comments on a pornography website’s message board more than a decade ago, in which he referred to himself as a “black NAZI!” and expressed support for reinstating slavery, a CNN KFile investigation found.
Despite a recent history of anti-transgender rhetoric, Robinson said he enjoyed watching transgender pornography, a review of archived messages found in which he also referred to himself as a “perv.”
|
Quote:
Robinson, who would become North Carolina’s first Black governor if elected, also repeatedly maligned civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., attacking him in such intense terms that a user accused him of being a white supremacist.
“Get that f*cking commie ******* off the National Mall!,” Robinson wrote about the dedication of the memorial to King in Washington, DC, by then-President Barack Obama.
“I’m not in the KKK. They don’t let blacks join. If I was in the KKK I would have called him Martin Lucifer Koon!” Robinson responded.
|
Quote:
Writing in a forum discussing Black Republicans in October 2010, Robinson stated unprovoked: “I’m a black NAZI!”
That same month, Robinson wrote in another post that he supported the return of slavery.
“Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves. I wish they would bring it (slavery) back. I would certainly buy a few,” he wrote.
In March 2012, Robinson wrote that he preferred the former leader of Nazi Germany Adolf Hitler over the leadership in Washington during the administration of Barack Obama.
“I’d take Hitler over any of the sh*t that’s in Washington right now!” he wrote.
Robinson’s comments on Nude Africa often frequently contained derogatory and racial slurs directed at Black, Jewish and Muslim people.
In a series of seven posts in October 2011, Robinson disparaged Martin Luther King in such intense terms, calling him a “commie *******,” “worse than a maggot,” a “ho f**king, phony,” and a “huckster,” that a user in the thread accused him of being in the KKK. Robinson responded by directing a slur at King.

Re: Trump’s Troubles
He’s black though, therefore he is the victim, the oppressed, he will have experienced racism, he deserves equity, he deserves reparations and you can’t argue with his lived experience, and his truths. The CNN investigation itself and its findings is proof of systemic racism within the mainstream media.
That’s how it works, isn’t it?
