Payment system problems. And scam fines

Hello. I've had several occasions when I couldn't pay for the internet on time. The first time, the system wrote "something is wrong in our system, try to pay again later" I tried several times, I failed to pay because of an error on the site. Then I forgot, and I received a letter about a penalty for the fact that the site was not working correctly and I could not pay in time. Naturally, I am not going to pay this fine.
There was a case, I made a transfer, the money was withdrawn from my account, I think I even received an email that the payment had gone through. But an hour later or the next day. The day, I don't remember anymore, it was a long time ago. I got a penalty letter again, I allegedly didn't pay for the service. (Maybe the system had not yet received the information that I had paid and sent me a fine by mistake, because an hour after I paid, the waiting period expired, I don't know) anyway it is not my problem. I try to always pay my bills on time. Even when I was in another country for the whole month, when I returned, I paid for the unused month, and even this fraudulent late fee. But I don't want to pay the fines incurred due to errors in the payment system. Now I get letters with fines about disconnecting the internet for a few days because I didn't pay the fraudulent debt. I don't understand this system of charging fines at all, it looks like promoting people for money, it's fraud. If someone has not paid for the internet in time, just switch off access to the internet at the beginning of the next month until the person pays. Perhaps such an option in the service was described in the contract, but I still don't agree with it, it's a rip-off. It does not matter for what reason a person has not paid. And especially if it is because of system errors on the provider's website. Can you please tell me where I should write this letter so that they remove all these fraudulently added penalty amounts? Thank you.

Re: Payment system problems. And scam fines

It's not fraudulent charges. Most companies will charge a fee if you make a late payment.

If you forgot or were busy then a direct debit is of course the simplest way to ensure it is paid on time every month.

Also if there was an issue with the website or on line payment service you can call and will usually be able to pay via an automated servic3, or you can call and speak to an advisor and explain your situation and see if they will waive the fee as a one off gesture.

Though it is not something that they need to do as of course a payment was late, no matter who's fault it was. You do really need to make every attempt to contact them as soon as there are any issues.
