And probably would say that. Opinion polls can have some value to a developer when considering something that is actually being planned.

How would you value that information? How is it useful to know that x% of the participants whatever forum would support blah blah? The low number of users participating means the results won't even represent the views of forum users, not to mention the general public.

Users often mock such polls with comments such as "are you high?". Hardly taking the subject matter seriously.

Maybe there should be a poll on how valuable/useful forum users find these polls.
