Think about it. Is there an altruistic main party leader in the UK? Take the Wee Skankie in Scotland - strutting the EU corridors a few years ago - she wants a seat at the high table. So, why wouldn't Biden want to be there for the same reason? Any altruism he might possess is dwarfed by the power fix he gets from the power he wields.
Sturgeon wants Scottish Independence. Everything she does suggests to me that's her genuine goal.
