Pretty much the same as they didn’t elaborate on Kate’s ‘abdominal surgery’, for which read ‘hysterectomy’. They absolutely don’t want that discussed because as well as being very personal it has implications for the line of succession. Would they write that? I suspect they already know what cancer the King has, what cancer the Queen may have had, and what surgery Kate had but aren't publishing because it would look awful if they did.
