Re: Virgin Media homepage not working?

I too was having problems but mine was that my password wasn't being accepted. I couldn't sort it out so ended up speaking to a nice lady in South Africa. She created a new passord and that seemed to solve the problem.. Tried logging in and out a couple of times and it worked.

2 days later I revisited My Virgin Media and tried to put a more secure password in the very simple one I had been given and kept getting the horrible OOOPS page saying VM had a problem. or the Bad Reqest screen like you.

Totally frustrated I sat back and, being very sophisticated I had a Vimto, large glass, lots of ice and a slice of Lemon on a swizzle stick.

Next day I tried again this time I couldn't even log in as my email address wasn't recognised, poured myself yet another Vimto, took a big breath and spoke to yet another nice agent in South Africa. He tried his best confirmed the email address was the one recorded, did some tests to no avail. He then decided to give me a better password noted that I had previously had Ooops and Bad request screens, said he would pass my issues on to the faults team asking the to contact me.

This morning I got an email using the email address I use for VM letting me know my Bill was ready and giving me a link. Feeling brave I used the link adding my email adress which was accepted Yippeeeee I added the new password ......... and the dang thing said it was wrong. Calmed down after a Vimto and started working through my passwords.... <<<<big sigh>>>> the one that worked was the original PW I was using before my first phone call.

Sorry for the log screed but I thought you may appreciate a laugh. Moral of my post is have a vimto at hand when you try to sort out any problems with My Virgin Media.
