Punk coming back…ok that caught my attention but he won’t be the Punk of old and speaking of old, can he still go? I know he cut down to compete in the UFC but last night he looked like he certainly has not put any weight back on. Still given the size of most of the AEW roster he’s like Andre the Giant.
I’m certain after all the hype dies down they’ll mess up Punk and he’ll be just another one of the boys.
Awful promotion putting on awful matches, paying awful “wrestlers” to take part.
And yes I’m a Jim Cornette guy.

Jim Cornette just strikes me as a miserable resentful git angry that wrestling promotions don't owe him a living, sure if impact or aew offered him a contract he'd bite their hand off and change his tune. The problem is we never knew how good we had it as kids, we had two top promotions to watch and now we have.... none. I think punk will be fine, 42, he is still in his wrestling prime and it's signings like him and Daniel Bryan that'll push the company to the next level, I hope interesting times are ahead as wrestling used to be brilliant and now it's just dull
