Many,many years ago when I was a Girl Guide on my first camp we were told that Dock leaves make a good alternative to loo rolls as, if used enthusiastically, the leaves release a moist sap which has a cooling, soothing effect on the skin.
Never tried using them, but you could always grow a few for emergencies.
