My router (VM hub is in modem mode attached to a netgear router) is showing hundreds of the following entries (about every 20 secs) in the logs

[service blocked: ICMP echo req] from source 86.11.180.1 (which is a VM ip address - cpc1-cani3-2-0-gw.14-2.cable.virginm.net)

This only seems to have started recently
any idea what this means and should i be worried?
