Avoid paid tipsters unless you've researched their stats fully or free ones with huge numbers of followers, they're most likely on a percentage from bookies and tip accordingly, they're called affiliates

Remember 4/1 each way and under paying 5th of the odds is a cash losing bet

Never make more than one withdrawl from your betting account a month

Get a stake plan and stick to it, Den's is £1 e/w, it should really be £2 win if you copy his as a plan

Don't bet to big on single races, don't bet over £30 on a race to often or your account will be restricted, likewise never refer to trader if your betting account offers you the option

When researching look for the things that genuinely give you an advantage, like some trainers specifically get their horses ready for certain meetings, like the a guy that gets horses ready for boxing day at Wincanton, some horses like racing to the left, some excel at specific distances but not others, there's so much you can do to turn the odds in your favour a little, I've been in the 3% for years now but it's never by more than £700 and frequently far less.

I like

Galliard Du Mensil
Delta Work
Noble Yates
Capodanno
Any Second Now

So does Templegate in The Sun and the reason I like him in this race is because he's an absolute demon, like all other newspaper tipsters appalling in every other race of the year though but this race he is mustard in, you will actually find that tipsters do have months they're good in, when I started out I used a guy called Alan and he couldn't pick his nose most of the time but he is worth subscribing to in August if he's still about as he certainly used to kill it then, another was really good in November, which is a tricky month generally

I like

Corach Rambler
