Quite. Given the wording wasn't of specific use to DTT, telling them their HD version of BBC1 was finally getting replaced with a regionalised version, having something that was clearly designed for another platform woukd just be plain confusing to many I'd imagine.

They'd have been better with a pop-up message on Freeview Ch 101 saying they woukd get regional content from a certain date and may need to retune. As far as I know there was no pop-up message.
