It looks to me from the listings that Sky Showcase is the new Sky One with some programmes from other Sky channels simulcast, and Sky Max takes over from Sky Replay, but now broadcasts in HD.

Clever marketing by Sky, but it disguises the fact that Sky has less material to play with in a world where the best new material is being diverted to the streamers.
