How is it you can see it getting canned, when the powers-that-be at the BBC can't see that?
The show is flying as high in the ratings as ever, and the audience appreciation index is sky high as well.
You appear to be confusing your personal taste with the commissioning policy of a national broadcaster with a remit to serve a wide audience.
