St. Louis Rams to play regular-season game in UK in each of next 3 years

Interesting development in that a team is committing to three years. This will give them enough time to develop a fan base in the UK and possibly open doors to a full time UK team.

The Rams are owned by Stan Kroenke who is a majority shareholder in Arsenal

The Rams are rebuilding from the early naughties when they were known as the "Greatest Show on Turf", they finished last year with 2 wins and 14 defeats.

For those not familiar with American sports its not uncommon for teams to move cities so not infeasible for a team like the Rams to be thinking of moving to the UK if the fanbase was big enough.
The Rams were originally in Cleveland from 36-45, moved to LA in 46 and then moved to St. Louis in 95.

I'll be going as they are playing the Patriots. (I've been to two games in the past - Pats V Bucs and last years Bears V Bucs).

In an unprecedented step that begins the next chapter of the NFL’s continued momentum of growing the international fan base, the St. Louis Rams have committed to becoming the first NFL team to play regular-season games abroad on an annual basis, the league announced today.
