Ntl and gaming - help!
Hi i have a linksys WRT54GS wireless router and ntl broadband. The broadband works fine thru the router and wireless until i come to try and play online games. I am trying to play command and conquer generals but it is continuously disconnecting me. If i leave otu the router and just have the broadband into my pc it works fine so the problem is with the router somewhere. I have tried port forwarding but it doesnt seem to work. i still get disconnected. its getting ridiculus.
any help would be greatly appreciated! cheers |

:welcome: to Cable Forum :D
I've seen reports of another gamer having difficulties. He couldn't6 even connect to some games. Solved by an update of the router's firmware. |
Re: Ntl and gaming - help!
if you use a wired connection through the router is this ok? or is it both wired and wireless that are causing you issues?
